About BoardScout.app

Welcome to BoardScout.app, a fast, minimalist web utility built for developers, researchers, shoppers, and everyday internet users who value authentic human insight over automated search clutter.

Our Mission

Finding honest product reviews, software troubleshooting steps, and real-world advice on mainstream search engines has become increasingly difficult. Search results are often buried under mass-produced SEO articles, affiliate listicles, and intrusive video widgets.

To bypass this noise, millions of users manually type site-specific search operators—such as site:reddit.com or site:news.ycombinator.com—into every search query. BoardScout was built to automate and streamline that exact workflow in a clean, one-click interface.

How BoardScout Works

• Multi-Forum Routing: Toggle and combine trusted community discussion boards including Reddit, Hacker News, Stack Exchange, and Quora in a single search.
• Pure Web Filtering: Queries are automatically formatted using clean boolean operators and Google's pure web parameter (udm=14) while muting video carousels, taking you straight to text discussions.
• Timeframe Controls: Narrow results to the past month or past year so you always get fresh, up-to-date answers.
• 100% Client-Side Privacy: BoardScout runs entirely in your browser. We do not require accounts, we never log your search queries on a backend server, and your board preferences are saved locally on your own device.
